Langara Fishing Update

Langara Island Fishing Resorts - June 13, 2008

Hey folks. I know this is a long time coming but I didn’t have much to report. Although halibut and ling cod fishing has been the best I’ve ever seen, the main Chinook migrations were late in arriving. That all changed 3 days ago with an abundance of fish showing up with and excellent average size of 22 lbs.

We have had some Tyees (> 30 lbs.) as well with a nice 35 pounder coming in yesterday. There have been a few fish over 40 lbs. caught around the island and I expect to see those giant 40 and 50 lb. Kitimat and Skeena fish arrive any day.

Tight lines,
